Terms & Conditions
By booking with Vinnie Transport, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Instant Quotes & Pricing
Our online calculator provides an instant price estimate based on the information you enter. Quotes are calculated in real time using your pickup address, delivery address, service type, distance, and any selected add-ons.
The quoted price is an estimate only. Additional charges may apply for:

Extra items not listed at the time of booking

Stairs, narrow access, or difficult entry/exit points

Excessive waiting time at pickup or delivery

Long carrying distances not disclosed at booking
-
Heavy, fragile, or oversized items not mentioned

Any other information not disclosed prior to arrival
IMPORTANT: The driver reserves the right to re-quote on arrival if the job differs from the information provided. By completing your booking you confirm that all information entered is accurate and complete.
2. Cancellation Fee (Non-Refundable)
To secure your booking, a non-refundable cancellation fee is required at the time of booking:

Simple Delivery (1–2 items): $40

Hourly Rate (3 or more items): $80
This fee covers the reserved time slot, fuel, and preparation. It is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations, rescheduling requests less than 24 hours, or no-shows.
The remaining balance is due on the day of the job upon completion of the service.
3. Online Booking System
Our calculator allows customers to:

Get an instant price estimate based on real distance and service type

Check live availability via our Google Calendar integration

Book and confirm a time slot immediately

Receive an email confirmation with all booking details
Booking is confirmed once the cancellation fee has been received and the booking confirmation email has been sent. If payment is not received within 24 hours, your time slot may be released.
4. Payment

The non-refundable cancellation fee is due at the time of booking via bank transfer

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service

Payment methods: bank transfer, cash (unless otherwise agreed in writing)
Bank details for deposit will be sent via booking confirmation email.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring:

All booking information is accurate and complete (addresses, items, access, stairs)

Suitable parking access is available at both pickup and delivery addresses

Items are appropriately packed or wrapped if required
-
Someone is present at both addresses at the agreed time
-
Any special requirements (fragile items, disassembly, etc.) are communicated before booking
Any undisclosed information that results in additional work on the day will be charged at the agreed hourly rate.
6. Damages & Liability
While we take great care during every job, Vinnie Transport is not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage to items or property

Damage to poorly packed or fragile items not declared at booking

Damage caused by incorrect or incomplete customer instructions
-
Delays outside our control, including traffic, weather, or access issues
We recommend insuring high-value or fragile items prior to transport.
7. Service Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse transport requests that are:

Unsafe or pose a risk to our team or equipment
-
Illegal or involve prohibited items
-
Unreasonable or significantly different from what was booked
In such cases, the cancellation fee is non-refundable.
